Paradise Management will work with the Board of Directors to facilitate a fair, consistent and standard process to collect monies owed to the association. In collaboration with the Board of Directors Paradise Mgmt will help facilitate an escalating collection process built on your Association governing documents, FS 718, 719 or 720 (whichever one is relevant) and input from your Association attorney. Whatever process is finalized it should be adopted at your next Board meeting and communicated to your members for their reference if needed. Your association is financially dependent on unit owners, shareholders, or homeowners staying current with their maintenance fee assessments to maintain the common areas and pay for daily routine maintenance and long-term capital improvements. This helps your community run smoothly, consistently and without disruption or special assessments. Situations when a unit owner, shareholder or homeowner pay their monthly assessments late; they most often will get caught up quickly and continue to be stable with their payments. Should there be isolated cases that escalate to attorney status, these will be handled appropriately and may include, late fee payments, rent demand, lien recording, personal litigation, payment plans and or foreclosure action.
